Losing weight is not easy. It had been a lifetime struggle for me. I am just blessed with a opportunity to change my lifestyle and there’s no going back only forward.
My Birthday picture fun!
I always take pictures for my bday. This year I almost passed it up. I’ve been struggling with my body. My close friend called me and reminded me of my pictures. She is awesome a capturing good pictures of me.
At age 26 (come Friday) I will have lost 53 pounds since the start of my journey. I haven’t been this weight since my freshman year in college.
In the picture I’m wearing a dress from forever 21, Mk watch, Steven madden pumps. I’m killing it lol!
Let me not forget MUA is yours truly!
I am happy to announce my 6 wk progress update. I have lost 53 pounds since my pre-op Dr’s visit. It’s not because of the surgery only. People remember it’s just a tool. I have been working out tough in the gym 4-5 days a week. Now, I’m even staying 2/3 hours. I enjoy being at the gym. It’s actually fun. I love doing different classes. The best part is that I have so much energy and it’s natural. No pills, just me!
Weightloss is not easy and it doesn’t happen over night.
Stay focus and always PRAY.
Here’s an update of my journey! I’m 48 pounds lighter. I’m trying to lose another 15 before my bday in July.
It’s not easy, but I’m strong! I workout 4/5 days a week. Ladies it’s worth it. I last so much longer in my heels.
My dinner before I ate and after! 5 weeks post op! I’m so stuff too!
Two weeks post op and I am 28 pounds lighter! I’m truly thankful and encourage for the long haul.
I have to give thanks to my dad we have to walking together for the past week.
4 more weeks and I can lift weights again. I’m ready to get my curves in better shape!
Watch me work!
1 Week Post OP!
Today’s workout was great! I walked a mile in 24 minutes. Plus, I jogged a little bit of it to. Then, I finished off with jump roping for 20 minutes. If I can do this so can you. Now, I understand everyone may not have been as physically active as I was before my surgery. But it is possible to do more that walking.
Since, I was given the opportunity to shed the weight I will do it at my best performance. Working out feels great and I love it.
For your motivation I will even share my starting weight. (395) Wow, that’s even hard for me to say. This is why I continue to say if I can do it so can you. Forget about your weight and push yourself.
"I am a Queen"
Every woman should know exactly what you are worth! - My thought of the day!
I am now 6days after post op! I feel great. Today, I walked for about 45 minutes and jumped Rope for 20! It feels Sooo good!
I was pushed to reach my limits because last night I ran into an ex-bf of mine. It set me back with negative thoughts. I just refocused and look what happens. I’m more active then what the doctors expected.
Good Is Good!
Ps. The picture is from my cousin wedding this past Saturday. I danced my heart out and that was 4 days post op.
I hope other see that you control yourself. If u have the strength go workout and start living!
